Queen margerethe

  •  Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, born Margrethe Alexandrine Þórhildur Ingrid on April 16, 1940, is the daughter of King Frederick IX and Queen Ingrid. She became queen on January 14, 1972, following the death of her father.  

 Queen Margrethe is known for her artistic talents, including painting and costume design. She married Prince Henrik in 1967, and they had two sons, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim. Prince Henrik passed away in 2018.
